AfricanCrossroads.com is a free online social network where Africans and friends living on the continent or elsewhere in the world, single or married and irrespective of position in the society, can meet to have fun, discuss unity, progress, research, development.

This site is also deigned to include people from other parts of the world who have been to Africa, intend to be there one day, have friends from there or if they have contributed or intend to contribute to the growth of the African community in one way or the other.

It is 100% free to become a member. All you need to spend is one or two minutes of your time to fill out the sign up form and you are part of the global African online community. No strings!

FORUM:

The forum pages have been carefully designed so that people of a common background can have a separate forum from all other people. Example, Researchers, cultural associations, students, and the list can be extended by the ACR's administration at anytime if the need arises.

Seize this opportunity to make your voice heard about something that has been hiding in your mind. Bring up hot topics about Africa and get reactions from the other members. Non members can read forum posts but are not allowed to post any.

CHATROOM:

The chat room is designed to accommodate almost any number of people who can all chat at the same time. Instead of taking part in the forum, some people may want to chat live in the chat room. Members only.

INSTANT MESSENGER:

Instead of everyone chatting at once in the same window, members can do a search of online members. This way, they can have a private chat with a member of interest.

EMAIL:

Members are able to send and receive emails among themselves. They are notified in their personal emails when they receive one to sign in and read it.

Market Place:

The Market Place (Classified ads) section is very good for business. This section is a market place where members can tell the public about what they have for sale by posting items under the right categories. On the other hand members can go there to search for what they need to buy. Non members can look up stuff to buy but they cannot put up ads.

ARTICLES:

Discover the writing talent in you! Write your articles and send them to us. We would publish them for free if they are outstanding and also let everyone know that you wrote them. Let them know that you've got the talent. You may end up being a great journalist at a continental level!

GAMES:

The site is also about entertainment. The games section would be awesome for game lovers.

MUSIC:

Members have the option to upload music or to listen to music uploaded by other members. Let's share this gift of Africa. Non members can listen to music but they cannot upload it.
